Simpfly partners with RDC Aviation to bring airport and en-route charges into Flight Brief Suite

Simpfly, a provider of flight operations software for airlines and aircraft operators, has signed a partnership with RDC Aviation. Under the partnership, RDC's AirportCharges and En-route charges data is now integrated into Simpfly's Flight Brief Suite.

Flight Brief Suite is a pre-flight information app for pilots and flight dispatchers. With the RDC integration, users can calculate the expected airport and en-route charges for a flight while they prepare the flight brief. They no longer need a separate tool or a manual lookup, which simplifies the decision-making process.

What it means for operators

Airport and en-route charges are a large part of the cost of each flight. Depending on circumstances, they can change the best choice of route and airports.

Bringing them into the flight brief helps operators get the big picture at once and plan accordingly, with no surprises: safety-wise and money-wise. This matters most for business aviation and charter operators, where the same team or person handles the whole flight coordination, including permits.

The charges features are available to Flight Brief Suite customers with an RDC Aviation subscription. Simpfly can set up trial access on request.

"Dispatchers and pilots already use Flight Brief Suite to prepare each flight. Cost is part of that decision, but charges data usually lives somewhere else. With RDC's data inside the brief, our customers can see the charges for a flight at the same time as the operational information. RDC's data quality and global coverage made them the right partner for this."

— José Rui Godoy, CEO of Simpfly

"We are delighted to partner with Simpfly. Integrating AirportCharges and our En-route charges data into Flight Brief Suite puts trusted charges information directly in front of the people who plan and dispatch flights, exactly when they need it."

— Chris Haynes, Senior Account Manager, RDC Aviation

Availability

The integration is live now in Flight Brief Suite. Operators are already testing it in real operations as part of their trial.

Simpfly will show Flight Brief Suite and the RDC integration at the AircraftIT Operations Conference in London on 2–3 December 2026. Operators who want to try it before then can request a 30-day Flight Brief Suite trial at simpfly.aero/free-trial. Trial access to the charges features is set up on request.
